Guns, Crue and Everything Else '80's Parents Didn't Like.
A tale of a goofy 80's teenager and two '80's rock n' roll classics.
My rock n' roll journey began with an introduction to Motley Crue's "Shout At The Devil" at an age where I shouldn't have been listening to "Shout..." Once those notes got in my earhole so began my obsession. My bedroom in no time was wallpapered in leather, studs, middle fingers and Jack Daniels.
After about 4 years of this I was subsequently exposed via a Memorex 90 minute cassette of a new band called Guns N' Something. Wow. This was the most badass thing I have ever heard. Sunset Boulevard came out of the speakers and into my head. Dudes with names like Axl and Duff and a guitar player who may or may not have had eyes soon became my "wallpaper" of choice.
All that has lead me to here today sharing my life's soundtrack with you, my brothers and sisters. Don't let the bastards grind you down. 🤟
